MwaiBoard brings transparency, visibility and better tools to the entire governance process. From the first draft of a board paper through to the final record of a decision, it helps boards stay informed, track activity and create a clear record of how decisions are considered and made.

We chose the name MwaiBoard because mwai represents good fortune and opportunity. MwaiBoard carries a simple idea: the Board of Opportunity — a board of directors, and the opportunities that effective governance enables.

Most board software is built and priced for large corporations. Everyone else is left running governance through email, shared drives and spreadsheets, with limited visibility and no clear record of how decisions were considered and made. We built MwaiBoard to give boards better tools, greater transparency and the visibility needed to make governance more effective.

Each verified organization runs in its own private workspace. Administrators set up the workspace, invite members and directors, and decide who can see what. Directors join on the web, and companion mobile apps are in development.
